Kish Graphite is a byproduct of steel-making. It is obtained when carbon crystallizes from molten steel during the steel manufacturing process. It is used by hundreds of research groups to make graphene by mechanical exfoliation. (aka the "Scotch Tape Method, as pioneered by Novoselov and Geim). Perfect for making "Scotch Tape" graphene!
